Coat care between grooming visits
28 May 2026 · 4 min read

How your dog's coat looks depends largely on care at home. Regular brushing removes dead hair, prevents matting and spreads natural oils, keeping the coat shiny.
Dogs with long, curly or double coats may need brushing several times a week. Use a brush suited to the hair type — we're happy to recommend one during your visit.
With home care, salon visits are shorter and less stressful, and you'll deal with far fewer stubborn mats.
